For about the last decade I have been writing a column I created for The Middleburg Eccentric newspaper. Month after month, year after year I’ve passed along my creative thoughts and opinions and I’m so appreciative of those of you who let me know that you read it regularly.
Coming up on five years ago Linda and I started Live An Artful Life Magazine, which developed into more of a web-mag, but my digits hitting the keys didn’t care. I found it to be a place to expand on my thoughts past the space limitations of my newspaper column.
Pushing a couple of years ago we also began this weekly blog to represent a more regular thought pattern of inspiration, education, and motivation. Some have been short, some long, but all of them to hopefully help any artist anywhere and all of the arts in general.
In the second half of 2018, I completed and Linda and I published my book Live An Artful Life. For all that I have written and mentioned above, no other group of written words by me more sums of my creative life and the life I wish for you than what lies between the front and back cover of that book. It has taken every life experience I’ve had and offers, I believe, thought and direction worthy of your time.
As a book, it is something that you can read and enjoy, but as a guide, it is something you can quickly and easily return to over and over again via multiple enlarged sentences lifted throughout the book. Whatever time it takes you to read the whole book, can be done in a fraction of the time as a brush up just by reading these very to the point enlarged messages. So, if you have enjoyed my writing, I think you’ll really enjoy Live An Artful Life!
